Adrienne Kenafake is a multi-disciplinary Australian artist living on Bundjalung Country, Northern New South Wales. In 2014 she exhibited her first solo show, Gutter Gold: Something from Nothing at the Tweed Regional Gallery in Murwillumbah and has since continued to exhibit locally and interstate with her most recent body of work HORSE GIRL, showing at Flying Arch Fine Art Lismore NSW, in 2024.

In 2019 she was a successful recipient of a City of Gold Coast Regional Arts Development Fund grant to develop two exhibitions; DUPLEX at The Walls Art Space, Miami, Gold Coast and her first interstate solo show, Irregular Structures, at The Midland Junction Art Centre in Perth.

Adrienne has participated in residencies at Home of the Arts, The Walls Art Space, The Field ARI and M/Arts in Murwillumbah, The Midland Junction Art Centre, Perth, and House Conspiracy in Brisbane's West End. She is currently an artist in residence with Lismore Council's Converge program.

Working across the mediums of sculpture, performance and installation she investigates the potential of objects as physical, psychological and extrasensory archives of emotion, story and place. Kenafake’s work incorporates high density accumulations of found artefacts and materials, conglomerations of intuitively selected items that have been collected methodically and then subjected to ritualised methods of transformation. Through actions of intent, the ownerless and the non-belonging metamorphose into relics and talismans: psychometric guides with the potential to emanate undisclosed and autobiographical imprinted histories.
